Everything she was saying about her own journey with disordered eating was something I either had experienced or am currently going through, making me feel less alone and understood. She recently posted a video on her IGTV that was jaw dropping for me. What I love so much about Lisa and her content is how relatable her stories are. Lisa is a true advocate for taking an individualized approach to healing and coaching, something not so prevalent in today’s wellness world.

She has been an absolute wealth of knowledge during my super low moments in my eating disorder, and has been a positive and healthful resource for me as I continue my wandering road to recovery. I have been reading and interacting with Lisa on her Instagram for several years. Lisa is a Registered Dietitian who truly brings me so much light and joy in a somewhat complicated space. If you’re interested in exploring food freedom, becoming more intuitive and mindful in regards to your overall food and lifestyle choices or simply looking for a well-rounded, authentic and beautiful lady to follow – Lisa is your lady. Laura continues to be one of my very favorite women in wellness.

Oh, and if you haven’t follower her already and need even more of a reason to hit the button – check out Laura’s brand new IGTV series which features her lovely self eating and enjoying delectable treats while speaking on some truly raw topics having to do with her relationship with food. If I am being totally honest (and maybe semi creepy) I actually don’t remember a day that I haven’t watched Laura’s Instagram stories – whether it’s videos of her sharing delicious almond butter covered breakfasts, her snapshots of her precious fur baby or her daily walks, I really enjoy seeing what she is up to!

Aside from Laura’s delicious recipes you will undoubtedly see when you follow her, what I believe sets her apart is her overall honesty and vulnerability she presents through her Instagram stories. Laura is a Certified Holistic chef, recipe developer and writer. She recently appeared in my Influencer roundup post, so you know she is something special! Laura has been one of my favorite wellness influencers on Instagram for longer than I can remember. So, if you’re a bit tired of the same old content showing up when you log into Instagram, I highly suggest you consider taking a look at these 7 amazing wellness influencers and start following along! Laura Lea While all of these accounts may not resonate with you directly, I know each and everyone of these wellness influencers will offer something you may have not known before, which is always the best kind of content to consume, in my opinion. It’s taken me several years to figure out who some of the ‘healthiest’ (mind+body) influencers are for me to follow (especially given my own wellness journey). These women come from such different backgrounds and lifestyles, but all present some of the most raw, real and inspiring stories you might ever be so lucky to learn about. Thankfully, throughout my many years of being on Instagram, I’ve been able to follow, as well as build relationships with some very incredible wellness influencers and overall inspiring women in the wellness world. Of course, not every account on Instagram is going to make you feel less than you should, it just takes time to find the ones that are authentic and relatable to you – in other words, the ones that make you want to immediately schedule a matcha latte date with them after viewing just a handful of their posts. With a quick scroll through the feeds of some of the most popular wellness Instagram accounts, you will likely see a ton of extensive meal-prepping, highlight reels of the sweatiest, calorie burning workout routines and overall completely un-achievable, un-sustainable lifestyles. While Instagram is one of my favorite places to find inspiration, I agree that it can be particularly stressful and toxic to keep up with.
